Ignored Words

The WordList Editor's primary purpose is to provide easier definition in the Ontology Editor.  However, certain words do not fall into any categories allowed in the ontology editor.  Simple words like "be", "are", "is", "if", etc. are not necessary for semantic net definition.  Thus, some are automatically ignored by the program.  The user, however, may wish to ignore more words, and this is what the "Ignore selected word" button is for.

To ignore a word, select a word in the WordList Editor, and click "Ignore selected word"

Modifying Ignored Words

If a mistake has been made in ignoring a word, the user can undo this action.

To do so, click "List of ignored words" in the WordList Editor

Here, both normal ignored words and ignored component words are listed, and both types of words can be un-ignored and restored if necessary.
