The Selection Windows

There are 4 selection windows, all of whose sizes can be changed by grabbing the window boundaries with the mouse, and moving them horizontally or vertically:

(1) System models Selection Viewer  Displays the names of mineralisation models which have been collected by Georeference Online Ltd from referenced sources.  Beside the name of each model is a checkbox that can be clicked to select it for comparison with instances.

To view the details of any model, make a left double-click on the model, and it will appear in the "Model in focus" window below.

Only "User" descriptions may be edited.  To alter a "System" description, it first has to be copied to the "User" viewer, and then edited. In this way, the "System" descriptions on MineMatch are permanently protected.

(2) User-defined models Selection Viewer    Displays the names of mineralisation models added by the user.   Beside the name of each model is a checkbox that can be clicked to select it for comparison with instances, or for export.

To view the details of any model, make a left double-click on the model, and it will appear in the "Model in focus" window (described in next section).

Windows (3) and (4) are the equivalent of the above, but for mineral deposit instances.
