Adding Information to MineMatch

MineMatch allows a user to create new databases for adding and storing new geological information about (user-defined) mineralisation models or mineral deposits (instances).

In the MineMatch Control Panel, click on File -> Open New...  and the following form appears:

Navigate to the folder in which you wish to store the new database and enter the new file name.  In the following example, the new file name is MyModels.

Once the file MyModels has been created, the name appears in the Create New Database box.  Now you have created a database, you can add geological information about mineralisation models.

MineMatch also allows the user to open existing user-defined databases for mineralisation models or mineral deposits (instances), and bring them into the user-defined models or mineral deposits window.

In the MineMatch Control Panel, click on File -> Open Existing...  and the following form appears:

Select the existing user database by clicking on the database you wish to open.  In the following window, the database is mdtest2GOL_mdl.mdb.

The procedures are similar for the creating and opening of databases for deposits.
