Hetero Inheritance

This facility is not supported in the current version of LegendBurster.

In a semantic network (i.e. hetero-hierarchy), sometimes information captured in a particular level in the network can be propagated/inherited to other levels of the network.  This kind of inheritance is called hetero-inheritance. In order for the system to determine how and when information stored at different levels can be inherited,  the ontology designer must define inheritance rules in the system.  This is possible using the LegendBurster Ontology Editor, but is not a supported feature at this time.  Parties interested in utilising this feature of LegendBurster are requested to contact Georeference Online Ltd.
